Contributing as a Patient Advisor to help shape policies, practices, and care experiences that reflect the needs and perspectives of patients and their families across UW Medicine.

As a credentialed PCORI Ambassador, I help share research on which treatments and care options work best with patients, families, and communities. My focus is making that information easy to find, easy to understand, and useful when people are making decisions about their health.

I'm a Patient Research Partner on TAK-IMPACT, an international study led by the University of Edinburgh in collaboration with the Vasculitis Patient-Powered Research Network (VPPRN) at the University of Pennsylvania. The study asks patients with Takayasu arteritis and the doctors who treat them about care, daily challenges, and what matters most. My role is to make sure the patient perspective shapes the research from the start.
